I love this bead. Do the inside beads slide on a cord?
Or do they “rattle”?
Looking at some of your other work, I was wondering how do you keep the bead from distorting when piercing it?
I’m just starting back into polymer after a brief intro back several years ago, and I am really interested in those professional touches. I became disabled so am unable to attend many classes.
I also have combined fiber arts with polymer previously, so I’m particularly grateful to see your work.
Keep it up!
Hi Harmony and thank you for visiting us!
Yes, the black beads are loose inside. They rattle, whir and make noices – interesting idea to have movement inside beads (going to stydy moving objects some month this year)
Even though this bead has some Mexican appeal in it the distortion comes mostly from problem with using cutter to two ways. How ever not “square and neat” this bead is I can see several possibilities in the form.
I do 99,99% of my holes prior baking as I am not that good friends with drill. I am using Premo and letting the beads rest prior making the holes. I do holes from two sides with drilling motion and with a needle tool.
